  • There are over 500 rose bushes adorning the streets of the Estate;

  • With 64 stables at the Val de Vie stable yard, 42 stables at the Pearl Valley Equestrian Centre and spacious grass paddocks for all livery clients. There are plenty of benefits available to give our horses the highest quality of life and care;
  • Competitive and schooling riders can enjoy riding in the fantastic sand – fibre show jumping and dressage arena which is equipped with a full set of jumping furniture at Val de Vie Equestrian Club At The Pearl Valley Equestrian Centre there is a fenced dressage arena, lunge ring and two large jumping and flatwork grass arenas suitable for schooling or leisure riding;
  • Polo facilities on Val de Vie Estate include two Hurlingham standard Polo Fields, one multipurpose sports field and a “stick and ball” field next to the sand-fibre arena;
  • All equestrian disciplines are welcome and accommodated for at Val de Vie Estate with large areas and adequate surfaces;
  • The Val de Vie Polo Academy and coach Kevin Rixon offer a professional yet friendly environment to explore, , enjoy and improve your polo skills.   • License plate recognition technology is linked to the central Western Cape database and of great value in monitoring suspicious vehicle activity;
  • Louis de Jager, who retired as Full Colonel as Provincial Head Western Province Crime Intelligence, has been appointed as Val de Vie Estate’s full time Risk Manager. Louis has spent 29 years working as a detective for the South African Police Service and 23 years in the private sector.
